What audio formats are supported?
Folder Looper works with common audio file formats supported by iOS, including MP3, WAV, AAC, AIF, AIFF, CAF, and M4A files.
Can playback continue when the screen is locked?
Yes. Folder Looper supports background audio playback, lock screen controls, and Apple CarPlay playback controls.
How does Player sorting work?
When shuffle is off, songs with numbered file names sort in number order. Songs without numbers appear after numbered songs.
Can I change the play order?
You can open Play Order to view upcoming songs, jump to a specific track, or reshuffle when shuffle mode is enabled.
How do Player and Practice work together?
When a Player song is selected, you can switch to Practice mode and use that song for key detection, tempo detection, transposition, speed adjustment, and repeat playback.
What happens when I choose a different folder?
Choosing a different Player folder starts a fresh player session and clears the current Practice song.
What do key and tempo detection do?
Folder Looper estimates the musical key and tempo of selected songs locally on your device. Results are intended as helpful practice aids and may vary with recording quality or song arrangement.
Can I slow down a song without changing key?
Yes. Practice mode lets you adjust playback speed from 50% to 150% while keeping key controls separate.
Does the App send my songs anywhere?
No. Your audio files remain on your device. Playback, artwork display, key detection, and tempo detection happen locally.
