How do I place a piece?
Tap an available board space to send the staged piece there, or drag the staged piece directly to the space you want.
What are the locked spaces?
Three to Win on the larger boards begins with selected spaces locked. Random locks dissolve as the game progresses, creating a less predictable opening.
What do Alfred's modes mean?
Fun provides a relaxed game, Challenging plays a more thoughtful strategy, and Expert gives Alfred his strongest play.
How does Undo work?
Undo is one logical step deep. In Single Player it returns to your previous decision. In Pass & Play it removes the latest move.
What is an early draw?
When Declare Early Draw is enabled, a round ends as soon as neither player has a possible winning line remaining.
Can Zig Zag Zō be played offline?
Yes. Zig Zag Zō is designed for completely offline gameplay and does not require an internet connection.
How do I reset statistics?
Open Statistics from the home screen and choose Reset All Statistics. The App will ask for confirmation before removing them.
